Easyworks and Open Dental

The easiest dental system to build around, and that is not an accident.

Yes, and of the dental platforms this is usually the most straightforward. Practices on Open Dental tend to have chosen it deliberately, often for the openness and the control over their own database. That same openness is what makes building around it cleaner than most. The boundary stays the same though: clinical records are yours and we do not touch them.

What we add

What we build around Open Dental.

01

Every new patient call answered

Including the ones at 6pm and on Saturday, which for a single location practice is usually where the growth actually is.

02

Recall worked systematically

Overdue hygiene chased on a schedule rather than in bursts when someone has time.

03

Short notice gaps filled

A cancellation triggers outreach immediately, while the slot is still fillable.

04

Consistent review flow

Asked after every appointment, every time, which is what moves you in local results.

What we do not touch

This stays in Open Dental.

You own this database. We are not interested in becoming a layer between you and it.

Why it matters

Built for independent practices who chose Open Dental for the control it gives them.

01

Independent practices carry a specific disadvantage. Groups have staff for recall and front desk cover. You have one person who is also doing everything else. The systems close that gap without adding headcount, which is usually the only realistic option.

02

Because you own your database, a lot of what we would otherwise have to work around is simply available. That tends to mean a shorter build and fewer compromises than the same job on a closed platform.

03

We still start with the free Scan. If your recall is already tight and your phones are covered, we would rather tell you that than sell you a build you do not need.

FAQ

Open Dental questions, answered.

Generally yes, because you have proper access to your own data. It removes a lot of the guesswork that closed platforms create. The Blueprint still confirms specifics against your actual setup.

No. We work with appointments, calls and messages. Clinical data stays where it is. We ask for the minimum access that does the job and nothing beyond it.

Usually not, and often it helps. It does mean we look properly before quoting, which is what the Blueprint is for.

You do, and on Open Dental you already know that better than most. Nothing changes. Anything in our system is exportable on request.

The free Scan takes about a minute. If Open Dental already covers something, it says so and we do not sell it to you.
