Dental Answering Service and AI Receptionist

Your front desk, minus the hold music.

The front desk is checking a patient out, the phone rings, and it rings again. Lunch closes the line for an hour. After 5 it goes to a voicemail nobody checks until morning. Each of those is a new patient who called the next clinic on the list. Our receptionist picks up when your team cannot, books into your schedule, handles reschedules and answers the questions your desk answers twenty times a day.

An example

12:20pm, front desk at lunch.

CallerHi, I just moved to Surrey and I am looking for a new dentist. Are you taking new patients?
Your clinicWe are, welcome to the area. Are you looking for a checkup and cleaning, or is something bothering you right now?
CallerJust a checkup. It has been about a year.
Your clinicPerfect. A new patient exam and cleaning takes about an hour. I have next Tuesday at 8am or Thursday at 3:30. Do you have dental insurance you would like us to bill directly?
CallerThursday. And yes, through work.
Your clinicYou are booked Thursday at 3:30. I will text you a link for the new patient forms and a spot to add your insurance details, so check in is quick.

When the desk cannot pick up

  • Voicemail at lunch, after hours and during a busy check out
  • New patients rarely leave a message, they call the next clinic
  • Reschedules pile up as morning callbacks
  • Message services that cannot see your schedule

With an Easyworks receptionist

  • Answered on the first ring during the gaps you choose
  • New patients booked into the right appointment type
  • Reschedules and cancellations handled and the slot reoffered
  • Common questions answered: hours, location, parking, direct billing
  • Anything clinical passed to your team, never answered

How it gets set up

Set up around your schedule, not ours.

  1. We map your appointment types, providers and booking rules with your office manager.
  2. We connect to your practice software where it allows, or to a booking calendar your desk confirms.
  3. You choose when it answers: overflow only, lunch, after hours, or all of them.
  4. Your team listens to test calls and we adjust until it sounds like your clinic.

Built alongside Dentrix, Open Dental, ABELDent and Curve Dental, so nothing moves out of the software you already run.

FAQ

Dental answering service questions.

No. It does not diagnose, recommend treatment or comment on symptoms. If a caller describes pain, swelling or trauma, it offers the earliest emergency slot or passes them to your team, following your rules.

We build around the common ones, including Dentrix, Open Dental, ABELDent and Curve. How deep the connection goes depends on your version and plan. The Scan checks before you commit to anything.

It collects only what booking needs. Recordings and notes sit in accounts in your clinic’s name, and we walk your privacy officer through where everything is stored before go live.

If asked, it says so plainly. It also tells callers they can reach a person during office hours.

To get started, $600 to $1,500 one time, then $200 to $800 a month. Those are starting points, not a fixed menu; the final price depends on what you need and what we agree on together. After the build it is month to month, 30 days notice, no exit fee.
